Welcome Back Students!

Posted in News By Graham White on

This is the calm before the storm:  It’s the Monday morning before move-in weekend here at UNC-CH.  We are very excited about this upcoming school year.  We believe God has great things planned.  We believe He is already moving.  Here are a few things to note:

1) The first two Sundays (8/21 and 8/28) we will be having our morning gatherings in the Student Union (room 1505).  They will start shortly after 11:00 am.  Please come out and join us as we worship our King.

2) This Sunday night (8/21) Campus Crossroads Church will have a booth set up at the annual Fall Fest event.  Please stop by for a free t-shirt and info on all things Campus Crossroads.

3) Sunday Night service will begin 8/28 at 7:00pm and will be in the Student Union (room 1505)

That’s it for now.  Please feel free to contact Graham White for any questions, graham@campuscrossroads.org.

Peace.

Fall of 2010, here we come

Posted in News By Graham White on

Preparing For A New Year:

It is a hot July afternoon here in Carrboro and I am hoping we will get some rain today.  It’s hard to believe but we are just about a month out of the 2010 Fall semester.  This post is to help inform you guys on what’s going on with Campus Crossroads as we prepare for another wonderful year.

Passion 2011, Atlanta: We are planning on attending the Passion Conference in Atlanta, GA over Christmas Break.  You can head over to the Passion website (http://268generation.com/passion2011/#/atlanta) for information.  It will be a great time of worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Spring Break 2011, Haiti: It looks like we will be taking a second trip down to Haiti over Spring Break.  We are keeping the numbers around 15 so please email graham@campuscrossroads.org if you are interested.  More than likely we will be going through NW Haiti Christian Mission (http://www.nwhcm.org/).  There will be an info session soon after Labor Day.  Also, this year will attempt to learn some Haitian Creole in preparation of the trip.

That’s it for now.  Be on the look out early next week on information regarding the first couple of weeks of school starting back.  Enjoy the last part of your summer!
